This Victorian Period (1837-1901) Brooch with folding pendant bail is crafted of 15 ct. yellow gold and features a faceted oval Amethyst and seed pearls. The standard of 15ct. gold was discarded in 1932 and is now rapidly becoming collectable in its own right as many pieces were lost due to being melted down for their gold content.
