Turtle Charm Bracelet, Sterling and Fossil Ivory

  • Description

Carry a story of the sea with this distinctive sterling silver charm bracelet, where history and coastal beauty come together in a captivating design. Alternating classic links with oval shaped stations, each bezel set with fossilized walrus tusk, create a natural palette of warm, organic tones. Near the clasp, a charming sterling turtle gently dangles, its shell set with the same fossilized tusk. Three circular links allow for an adjustable fit, so it rests comfortably on your wrist. This wearable piece of history, touched by the ocean, is a rare blend of nature and artistry, quietly elegant and destined to be cherished for years to come.

Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet with Turtle and Fossilized Walrus Tusk by Zealandia.  Adjustable from 6 1/2"  to 7 1/2"

The ancient ivory is anywhere from 500 to 3000 years old. It is legally obtained from native-owned land, having been excavated by Eskimo families from old village sites on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. Colors will vary as each beautiful piece of ancient ivory is uniquely tinted by earthen minerals. Another source of fossilized ivory is Ancient Mammoth Tusk. Plentiful until their extinction 15,000 years ago, our Mammoth Ivory is usually found by gold miners in Alaska and Canada.
